This is how you can meet Darth Vader AND Doctor Who in Kent on the same day

The force will be strong in Kent on April 1 as some of the UK’s most iconic sci-fi characters descend on Medway Park in Gillingham for the annual Medway Comic and Screen Festival.

One figure attending needs no introduction, apart from when he isn’t wearing his infamous suit.

David Prowse is a figure not everyone will have heard of but nearly all of us know the iconic movie villain he portrayed.

His character, Darth Vader, has captured the minds of generations of people for 40 years since first appearing on our screens in Star Wars in 1977.

The familiar rasping breath still delights audiences young and old but sadly, not many of us have seen the man behind the mask.

Kent fans have not much longer to wait to meet and greet David, also known as the Green Cross Code Man for those of us of a certain age, at the Medway Comic and Screen Festival.

Colin Baker as The Doctor.

Colin Baker, best known for playing Doctor Who, will also be in attendance.

As if that is not enough another British screen legend Colin Baker, best known for playing the sixth incarnation of the title role in Doctor Who, will also be in attendance.
