Doctor Who - Hero collector figurines July 2021

These two Daleks are separated by almost four decades, but united in their hatred of the Doctor – and their loyalty to the Dalek Emperor, whose mad quest to increase the power of the Daleks led it to incorporate human qualities into their “perfect” forms.

The Ninth Doctor’s deadliest foes!

Doctor Who - Hero collector figurines July 2021

The Parting of the Ways was the final on-screen appearance of Christopher Eccleston’s Ninth Doctor, and the grand return of the Daleks. In Earth’s distant future, Dalek survivors of the Time War were forced to replenish their numbers using the biomatter of dead humans.

As creatures engineered to despise all non-Daleks, these half-humans Daleks were soon driven insane with self-hatred – becoming religious fanatics dedicated to their mad Dalek Emperor!

A black at heart Dalek…

Doctor Who - Hero collector figurines July 2021

The Evil of the Daleks was the first appearance of a Dalek Emperor, and was initially meant to be the Doctor’s final battle with his most iconic enemies! Captured by the Daleks, the Second Doctor seemingly agreed to help his old foes isolate the “human factor” that had foiled their previous plots.

The Black Daleks were the Dalek Emperor’s elite guards, with distinctive jet-black domes and the authority to command other Daleks. Once their fellow Daleks began to be “humanized”, however, cracks began appearing in their control…

Allons-y!

Doctor Who Hero Collector May 2021 Reveals

Standing over 12” tall, this hand-painted statuette captures the iconic likeness of the Tenth Doctor, as portrayed by David Tennant.

The Tenth Doctor was a charismatic adventurer whose easygoing attitude concealed a terrifying temper. He’s portrayed here fiddling with his Sonic Screwdriver, clad in his striped suit, trainers, and the tan overcoat that billowed behind him whenever he ran – which happened a great deal…

What hides in a Pandorica?

Doctor Who Hero Collector May 2021 Reveals

Abandoned beneath Stonehenge, this Cyberman was stationed as a guard for the ultimate prison – the Pandorica. By the time the Eleventh Doctor stumbled upon it, the cyborg’s organic components had decayed into skeletal remains, leaving it in need of replacements… and Amy Pond seemed like the perfect donor.

The ground around Stonehenge was littered with the metal remains of Cyberman guards, destroyed by the local humans – this final guard was ultimately destroyed at the hands (and gladius) of Rory Williams, resurrected as an Auton and a Roman Legionary.

An evil Doctor Lookalike!

Doctor Who Hero Collector May 2021 Reveals

A brilliant scientist, respected politician, and wealthy philanthropist, Salamander was widely loved for his work alleviating world hunger in the distant future of the year 2018. In truth, Salamander was a scheming, murderous mastermind bent on world domination… with an uncanny resemblance to the Second Doctor.

Played by Patrick Troughton in the same episode as the Second Doctor, Salamander even attempted to trick the Doctor’s companions into taking off with him in the TARDIS. (Images will be revealed soon)

The Dalek invasion of Satellite Five!

Doctor Who Hero Collector March 2021 reveals

The Parting of the Ways was the last appearance of Christopher Eccleston’s Ninth Doctor, as the Daleks returned to menace the galaxy.

In the distant future, Dalek survivors of the Time War invaded the station Satellite Five to replenish their numbers with the biological material of dead humans. The only thing that could stop these new Daleks was the mysterious ‘Bad Wolf’…

Beware what lurks in the Cloisters of Gallifrey…

Doctor Who Hero Collector March 2021 reveals

In the Cloister, a vast crypt below the capital city of Gallifrey, the Cloister Wraiths lurked. Apparitions of dead Time Lords whose minds had been digitally uploaded, the Cloister Wraiths guarded the Matrix of Gallifrey – a repository of all Time Lord knowledge and science.

A Twin Dilemma!

Doctor Who Hero Collector March 2021 reveals

Mestor was the cruel, gluttonous leader of the Gastropods, a species of slug-like aliens. The Gastropod eggs lay dormant on the planet Jaconda for centuries, forming part of its mythology, before they somehow hatched and the Gastropods returned, using their telepathic abilities to dominate the native Jacondans.

Doctor Who the Figurine Collection 1

Brand new series of Doctor Who figurine box sets are coming from Hero Collector, featuring some of our favourite Time Lords from throughout the galaxy.

Based on the Doctor’s encounters with other members of their Gallifreyan race, the Doctor Who Time Lords sets from Hero Collector will give fans an opportunity to adventure with some of the most memorable masters of the space-time continuum.

The first Doctor Who Time Lords box set reunites two old friends – The Curator (Tom Baker) and the second incarnation of Romana (Lalla Ward).

The Curator was a mysterious Time Lord played by Tom Baker, the iconic actor behind the Fourth Doctor. In his brief meeting with the Eleventh Doctor during the 50th anniversary special The Day of the Doctor, he hinted that he might be another incarnation of the Doctor – who knows? Who knows.

Romana (or Romanadvoratrelundar) was a rare Time Lord companion on the Doctor’s adventures, and (even rarer) his academic superior. Initially haughty, she and the Doctor soon warmed to each other.

This is the first of five sets, each containing two Time Lords, faithfully recreated as hand-painted polyresin figurines at 1:21 scale (approximately 3.5 inches tall). Accompanying each will be an in-depth companion magazine – highlighting the history, costumes, and stories behind these characters.

This box set joins Hero Collector’s ongoing range of 1:21 scale Doctor Who figurines, which explore aliens, monsters, robots, humans and Doctors from over five decades of Doctor Who.
