Overnight, Dot And Bubble was watched by 2.12m on BBC One. Consolidated, Dot And Bubble was watched by 3,383,000, making the 24th highest rating programme of the week. This figure include those who watched on devices and pre-BBC One transmission on iPlayer.
Boom was watched live by 2.04m on BBC One in the UK. BARB have released the 7-day consolidated figures for this episode, which include those who watched on iPlayer and devices. Boom has consolidated to a total of 3,578,000 making it the 18th most-watched programme of the week across all channels, and the 10th most-watched title of the week.
The first two episodes of the series, Space Babies and The Devil’s Chord, have consolidated to 4,008,000 and 3,909,000 respectively.
Doctor Who returned to screens on Saturday 11th May with a double bill premiere on BBC One, BBC iPlayer and Disney+ worldwide.

Overnight figures show The Star Beast had an average audience of 5.08m from 6:30pm on BBC One. It was the second most-watched programme of the day across all channels, only behind Strictly Come Dancing.
Posting figures any TV drama could only wish for in 2023, Doctor Who beat ITV’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and became the biggest drama launch of the year. Overnight figures were posted on Twitter/X by BBC News correspondent Lizo Mzimba.
Consolidated ratings released by BARB show that The Star Beast added over 2.5m to consolidate to 7,605,000 over the following 7-days. This figure is UK viewing only and includes those who watched on BBC iPlayer and on catch-up within the first week of original broadcast.

According to Tom Spilsbury, the consolidated seven-day rating for Doctor Who finale, The Timeless Children, was 4.69m (4.55m on televisions and 0.14m on other devices). It was the 30th most-watched programme of the week across all television.

According to Tom Spilsbury, Doctor Who Episode 9, Ascension of the Cybermen, had a consolidated seven-day rating of 4.99m viewers (4.85m on TVs, and 0.14m on other devices). It was Number 25 on the overall weekly TV chart.
