Series 14 Continues Filming in Bristol
Filming for Doctor Who continues in Bristol with Clifton once again doubling up for Notting Hill. Crews have been spotted around and about Park Place and the surrounding area in Bristol this morning, with a very Christmasy aesthetic lining the late Georgian Stucco streets of Frederick Place.
Some eagle-eyed Doctor Who fans also spotted some London street name signs, and bins also labelled as “The Royal Borough of Chelsea and Kensington”.
Traffic access to Park Place and Frederick Place is restricted as camera, lights, sound and props crews work to set up a crane shot of a London bus pulling up to a stop a few doors up from the Quinton House Pub.
Houses along Park Place, Briton Place and Frederick Place, have been given a festive makeover with Christmas decorations indicating that the episode being shot may be for a seasonal special.
The Christmas decorations were spotted by some fans out and about yesterday, who quickly made the connection that it looks likely the programme – now in its 40th series – is rumoured to be airing its first Christmas special since 2017.
