Another name is added to the Doctor Who series 11 roster…

Top work by the terrific Girly Letters on Twitter, who’s spotted another face popping up in Doctor Whoseries 11.

Sharon D Clarke, it’s been revealed, has filmed the role of Mary for the new series. She’s appeared in block one of episodes, that were shot by director Jamie Childs before Christmas. Given that block one has consisted of episodes one and seven of the new run, then it’s pretty certain she’s in one of those. How sizeable her role is remains to be seen.

Doctor Who series 11 is currently filming its second block of episodes, with Mark Tonderai directing those. The shoot was in South Africa at the start of the month, but is now back in the UK.
