PETER CAPALDI DENIES DOCTOR WHO CUTBACK RUMOURS
The actor was rumoured to be filming fewer episodes of the BBC One show to focus on other commitments.
Breathe a sigh of relief, Doctor Who fans – Peter Capaldi has denied reports that the show will only air half the usual number of yearly episodes in 2016.
It was previously rumoured that there would be a severe reduction in episodes for 2016 due to the actor focusing on other work commitments.
When asked if the reports were true in a BBC News interview, Capalidi said: “Not as far as I know.”
He added: “That’s not what I’ve been told. That is not what I’m contracted for.”
Meanwhile, Capaldi recently confirmed that Jenna Coleman has now filmed her final scenes for Doctor Who .
Doctor Who continues on Saturday (November 7) on BBC One.
