The TV star will take over the Tardis from exiting Time Lord Peter Capaldi during the annual Christmas Day edition of the sci-fi show, and she’ll get set for her big moment as a BBC DJ.

The actress will appear as part of BBC 6 Music’s Christmas Eve programming, during which she’ll chat to fans and play some of her favourite music.

The evening will be part of the network’s Wise Women series, which will also feature a show hosted by Gossip singer Beth Ditto on Christmas Day.
