According to Lizo Mzimba at the BBC, Doctor Who: The Star Beast had an overnight audience of 5.08 million TV viewers on BBC One last night. Strictly won the night with 7.67m I’m a Celebrity got 4.83m.  The full official rating which factors in viewers who have watched the episode via BBC iPlayer over the next week will be released next week when it’s expected to see a significant rise to this initial figure.
