Doctor Who Series 15 finale to be shown in UK cinemas

As the season draws to a close, fans across the UK and Ireland will have the opportunity to come together in cinemas to watch the epic two-part finale on 31st May; starting with the penultimate episode, Wish World, and ending with The Reality War (both written by showrunner Russell T Davies and directed by Alex Sanjiv Pillai).

The Radio Times synopsis for The Reality War:
“The devastating climax. Strands that have drawn across seasons and centuries now pull together, tight as a noose, as legends converge for battle. Our brave, battered, beaten Doctor stands alone and helpless against the Unholy Trinity. Surely this is the end? Unless…”
It’s also reported (but not confirmed) that the episodes will not be released at the usual time of 8am on iPlayer, and instead will land at the same time on iPlayer and Disney+ internationally as it airs on BBC One in the UK.
