We now have a backup cloud save that we run but players must be signed in to Game Center (iOS devices), Google Play or Amazon whisper games services in order to use it.

Players can confirm that they are signed in because they will usually see a welcome banner. Also, they will see a long string of characters on the option screen where they save to cloud. It should say SOCIAL HASH.
