According to the BBC entertainment correspondent Lizo Mzimba, last night’s Doctor Who Easter special had an overnight audience of 2.20m (11th most watched programme of day). Was beaten by Antiques Roadshow on BBC Two (2.26m). For younger audiences was tough for Doctor Who going up against Britain’s Got Talent which won the night with 5.20m. Doctor Who is returning to TV soon for Jodie Whittaker’s penultimate episode, Legend of the Sea Devils, and we now have a confirmed time and length for the swashbuckling adventure.
