WHAT IS FREE COMIC BOOK DAY (FCBD)?

On the first Saturday in May – this year, May 4th – participating comic book shops across North America and the world give away a selection of FREE comic books to anyone who comes into their shop.

Whether you’re a seasoned comics fan, or a first-time reader, this is the perfect time to discover your local comic shop. Major publishers put out free comics for fans to enjoy at the more than 2,300 stores that participated in Free Comic Book Day.
