Lynda Baron: 1939-2022

It has been reported today that actress Lynda Baron has passed away at the age of 82.  Lynda was well known to Doctor Who fans, firstly for lending her vocal talents in “The Gunfighters” (1966) singing  “The Ballad of the Last Chance Saloon” staring William Hartnell. She returned to the series for it’s 20th season in 1983 playing Captain Wrack in “Enlightenment” opposite Peter Davison and more recently “Closing Time” (2011) starring Matt Smith.
