Billie Piper welcomes baby girl with boyfriend Johnny Lloyd
Congratulations are in order for former Doctor Who star Billie Piper, who has given birth to her first daughter.
The singer and actress has welcomed her first child with Tribes front-man boyfriend Johnny Lloyd, following the announcement earlier this year that she was expecting.
A representative for Piper has confirmed the happy news.
The Rose Tyler actress already has two sons – Winston and Eugene – with ex-husband Laurence Fox, from whom she split in 2016.
Piper has been dating Lloyd for two years, and was famously married to radio DJ Chris Evans, tying the knot when she was 19 and Evans was 35.
Meanwhile, last year it was confirmed that the actress would be returning to her iconic Doctor Who role of Rose Tyler in an audio spin-off from Big Finish.
“I love how normal Rose is, and yet really extraordinary,” Piper said. “She lived a normal average life but she is incredibly curious and has an enormous capacity for love and empathy and is really spirited. She is extraordinary.”
Speaking of the fact that there would be no alien threats or villains, she added: “That’s the great thing about Doctor Who. It challenges new thinking.
“It’s progressive and it can be political in amongst these human emotions and relationships. I think that’s its greatest appeal.”
