JAGO AND LIGHTFOOT SERIES 10 REVEALED
The Investigators of Infernal Incidents return in October for four more cases in an all new box set.
“Ten series!” says producer David Richardson. “We could never have imagined when we made The Mahogany Murderers for the Companion Chronicles that we’d clock up so many episodes with the wonderful Christopher and Trevor. And that’s all down to the enduring charm of both them as actors, and the characters as created by Robert Holmes.”
After returning from their voyages on the Fata Morgana in Series 9, Henry Gordon Jago (Christopher Benjamin) and Professor George Litefoot (Trevor Baxter) are back in London for four more cases of the unexplained, once again joined by loyal barmaid Ellie Higson (Lisa Bowerman) and the indomitable Inspector Quick (Conrad Asquith). Time Paradoxes, missing secrets and the detectives’ biggest fan awaits in the tenth series based on the classic characters from Doctor Who: The Talons of Weng Chiang.
Co-starring alongside our seasoned series regulars is Toby Hadoke as Carruthers Summerton – Jago and Litefoot’s biggest fan! Elsewhere, a strange package delivery leads the investigators to come across some familiar faces – their younger selves! Alex Lowe and Blake Ritson star as young Jago and Litefoot for a case that took place 30 years before the pair even met!
Other guest stars for the series include John Rowe, Rosanna Miles, Ewan Bailey, Tracy Wiles, Camilla Power and David Warner.
