DOCTOR WHO SPINOFF CLASS WILL AIR ON BBC AMERICA
Patrick Ness’s series will debut sometime this year.
Doctor Who’s new spinoff series has found a home in the States.
During a press tour in Los Angeles this week, it was announced that Class will air on BBC America sometime this year.
Class hails from author Patrick Ness and will be set at Coal Hill School – a recurring feature in both new and classic Doctor Who.
Many of the Doctor’s companions have worked at the school, including Ian Chesterton, Barbara Wright and Clara Oswald.
BBC Three will air the eight-part series in the UK. Air dates will be announced at some point in the future.
Peter Capaldi previously admitted that he hadn’t been asked to appear in Class, even though he wants to be involved.
