Doctor Who showrunner Russell T Davies has announced when the show’s BBC Prom will air on TV. The musical tribute to the science fiction show will return to the BBC this year for the first time since 2013 to celebrate the iconic score created by composer Murray Gold for modern Doctor Who. According to an interview with Doctor Who composer Murray Gold in Radio Times magazine, Catherine Tate is set to host the Doctor Who Proms this coming 26 August at Royal Albert Hall. “Oh God, she’s great,” Gold said of the Proms host.
