News just in from Lizo Mzimba – The Doctor Who New Year Day Special got 5.15 million viewers on overnight figures – the lowest figure for any festive season Who special since the series returned in 2005. Luther’s return go 5.62 million. The Great Festive Bake-Off on Ch 4 got 2.71 million.
