BBC Worldwide have confirmed details for the forthcoming blu-ray release of the 1996 Doctor Who Television Movie, starring Paul McGann. Unlike the blu-ray release of Spearhead from Space the TV Movie hasn’t been re-scanned from its original film elements to create a high definition version, but is instead presented as a 1080/50i upscaled image.
