A double bill of classic Seventh Doctor adventures are available now.

“What if there were a game you didn’t know you were playing? Where you didn’t know the aim and you hadn’t seen the rules?”

Charlotte Pollard arrives in a toyshop, but she doesn’t know where she is – or even who she is. The mysterious owner wants to play games. He’s the Celestial Toymaker, and he has already defeated the Doctor, whose essence is hidden inside a ventriloquist’s doll.

The Doctor is gone. The TARDIS is lost. But the game is only just beginning…

DOCTOR WHO: THE OTHER WOMAN

DOCTOR WHO: THE OTHER WOMAN

It’s Katy Manning’s turn in the recording booth this month to bring Philip Lawrence’s new story Doctor Who: The Other Woman to life!

UNIT is called in when an alien escape pod brings a woman to the Kent countryside. The Doctor offers to repair her stricken, dimension-hopping ship, seeing an opportunity to escape his exile. But while Callandra charms the Doctor and the other men of UNIT, Jo is less trusting. Are her suspicions well-founded or is there another green-eyed monster at work?

Doctor Who – Short Trips: The Other Woman is available to download today for just £2.99.

You can purchase an annual subscription to the Doctor Who – Monthly Short Trips range at a considerable saving, with twelve stories appearing in your account as soon as they are released. The range currently runs through to the end of 2017, with three subscriptions available now.

A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The clock has stuck midnight and 2016 has now officially arrived in the UK!

Another year has come and gone, and 2015 saw more changes to Doctor Who. Peter Capaldi completed his second series as the Doctor with aplomb, further cementing his take on the role in a series that experimented with the show format. But more noteworthy was the exit of another companion, as we bid a tearful farewell to Jenna Coleman as Clara Oswald. Twice!

The year ahead is, unfortunately, marked with uncertainty when it comes to the main show. We only know for sure that the Doctor Who team, led by Steven Moffat once again, will be producing 13 more episodes. There has still been no confirmation on when fans will actually get to see Series 10 on the airwaves. The exact start date for filming is also unknown, although signs point to several months into the year this time around. Peter Capaldi will at least be returning, joined by a new, yet-to-be-announced companion.

Fans can also look forward to a new spin-off in the form of Class (set to air later in 2016) and Big Finish’s new series range, including the return of the Tenth Doctor and Donna Noble.
