Doctor Who: The Defectors: Trailer

Doctor Who: The Defectors: Trailer

The first trailer for the eagerly awaited Locum Doctors trilogy is now online!

June sees the release of the 200th Release in our Doctor Who Monthly Range; and the celebration begins now with the release of the trailer for Doctor Who: The Defectors, the first instalment of the celebratory ‘Locum Doctor’s trilogy’ (as script editor Alan Barnes has nicknamed it); in which the Seventh Doctor finds himself replacing his third incarnation…

Jo Grant is shocked to find most of her colleagues are missing. Then she discovers that the Doctor has inexplicably changed.

But there’s little time to worry about it all, as she and her misplaced Time Lord friend are whisked to the mysterious Delphin Isle on a matter of national security. There, they encounter a disturbingly odd form of local hospitality and learn of a highly classified incident that took place during the Cold War.

Why exactly have they been brought here? And what is the truth concerning the bodies in the harbour and the vast project being undertaken under a cloak of secrecy?

Doctor Who: The Defectors is written by Nicholas Briggs, and stars Sylvester McCoy as the Seventh Doctor, Katy Manning as Jo Grant and Richard Franklin as Captain Mike Yates.

The ‘Locum Doctors trilogy’ continues in May with Doctor Who: Last of the Cybermen, before concluded in June with Doctor Who: The Secret History; where the sinister force behind the Doctor’s misplacement is finally revealed…
